Rising Star Scholars 2023–2024: Cohort 5
SKF's largest cohort yet: 11 students move from the Learning Center into a private school.
For the 2023–2024 academic year, 11 students were selected to move from the SKF Learning Center into a local private school as Cohort 5 of the Rising Star Scholarship Program, SKF’s largest group yet.
Each received a new uniform, shoes, school bag, books and stationery. They joined the 12 scholars from Cohorts 1–4, bringing to 23 the number of children who have moved from an SKF Learning Center into regular school.
Students are selected on their academic performance and overall progress during two to three years at the Learning Center. Their scholarship covers admission and monthly fees, uniforms, books, stationery, snack money, exam fees and school trips.
