Our partner in Pakistan

Street Kids Rising Scholar Foundation

SKRSF is SKF’s locally registered organization in Pakistan. It runs our Learning Centers in Multan and Peshawar and manages the Rising Star Scholarship.

Registered and accountable in Pakistan

On 6 March 2023, after two and a half years of work, Street Kids Funds was incorporated in Pakistan by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) as Street Kids Rising Scholar Foundation (SKRSF), a company limited by guarantee.

Local registration means SKF’s programs operate under Pakistani law, with local accountability. It allows donations to be collected locally and the work to expand to more cities.

How SKF and SKRSF work together

  • Street Kids Funds (USA), a California 501(c)(3), raises funds, sets direction and oversees every program. US donors receive tax-deductible receipts.
  • SKRSF (Pakistan) employs the teachers and coordinators, runs the Learning Centers, handles school admissions for Rising Star scholars and delivers family programs.
  • Every rupee spent is reported back in our annual and mid-year reports.

Give a child the chance to learn

$250–$350 covers a child’s full year at an SKF Learning Center: teacher, books, uniform and a daily healthy snack.
